Clete Brewer

Clete Brewer is a Co-Founder & Co-Managing Partner of NewRoad Capital Partners, where he is responsible for the overall strategic vision, capital allocation, fundraising efforts, the investment process and post-investment operations of portfolio companies. Clete has over 30 years of experience leading and operating companies, from startups to publicly traded corporations, across services, retail, franchising and manufacturing and raised approximately $600 million across public and private financing.

Immediately prior to NewRoad Capital Partners, Clete served as the Chairman & CEO of BlueInGreen, a water technology disruptor for the environmental treatment of water and wastewater. Prior to BlueInGreen, Clete served as the President of Sport Clips, where he acquired a position in the company and scaled the franchise to a $250 million business and from 42 to over 675 locations. Prior to Sports Clips, Clete was the Co-Founder and served as President & CEO of Staffmark, where he led growth from less than $1 million in sales to over $1 billion and took the company public through an IPO.

Clete also serves on the Executive Advisory Board for the Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas.

Clete holds a BSBA in Finance from the Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas.
