As a co-founder of Good Eats, Matt Brown is committed to the mission of developing new and exciting vegetable products that will help change the way Americans think about and consume this important food group. Matt helped launch Good Eats in 2015 after spending 10 years with an industry-leading packaged vegetable company, Sager Creek Vegetable Co. (formerly Allen Canning Co.). During his tenure with the company, he was exposed to virtually every facet of the business – purchasing, manufacturing, logistics and most recently foodservice sales. In his first sales role, he was tasked with developing the new Industrial Sales Division where he successfully established strategic relationships with top industrial clients such as ConAgra, Nestle, Campbell Soup and Kraft. Matt was eventually promoted to Vice President, Foodservice Sales where he held full P&L and revenue accountability for a $150 million sales division, and led a cross functional team to accomplish strategic sales goals.
Matt graduated from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, where he received a degree in General Business.
Away from work, Matt enjoys golfing and spending time at home with his wife, Kristi, and their two children, Barrett (3) and Brinkley (1).
