Biography

Michele Meyer is an Operating Partner at NewRoad Capital Partners. Michele has over 30 years of leadership experience in consumer packaged goods, including P&L management and brand strategy across category-leading and developing business units. Michele served as President & SVP of Snacks Operating Unit at General Mills, where she drove growth across the $2 billion unit through new product launches, strong advertising acumen, breakthrough marketing and e-commerce initiatives. In her time at General Mills, Michele was President of Small Planet Foods, as well as the Meals Operating Units, where she led multiple M&A initiatives, including the acquisitions of Larabar, Food Should Taste Good and Annie’s Brands.

Michele previously served on the Board of Directors for GNC Holdings. She also serves on the Board of Advisors for Embark Trucks and as a Board Trustee for the SPOON Foundation, a nonprofit committed to the feeding and nutrition of orphans and foster children.

Michele holds a BA in Economics from Vanderbilt University and an MBA from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin.
