Co-Founder and Executive Vice President of Marketing
Trey became a veggie-lover when his wife taught him that bold flavor and creative preparation are the secret to great tasting veggies (not just enormous amounts of cheese and butter). He has 19 years of work experience in food innovation and marketing. During that time, he has held various executive sales, marketing, and food innovation positions in the CPG and foodservice industry. Trey gained his know-how working on national brands at Dr. Pepper Snapple, Sonic Drive-In, Advance Pierre Foods, and Sager Creek Vegetable Company (formerly Allen’s). He has successfully managed major brands, led marketing research, and corporate innovation initiatives. While living in Oklahoma, Trey also enjoyed working as an Adjunct Marketing Instructor at Oklahoma State University. He met co-founder Matt Brown at Sager Creek Vegetable Co. where their idea of Good Eats Food Co originated. Trey earned his MBA at the University of Texas at Dallas and his BBA from the University of North Texas. While his hometown is Amarillo, Texas, he loves living in Fayetteville where he has easy access to some of the country’s best mountain bike trails. He has been married for twenty years and has three children who regularly request the company’s Mexican Street Corn!
