Geoff Hager is a proven business leader with 12+ years of experience planning, developing and implementing strategic processes that have delivered increased revenue and profit gains within highly competitive industrial markets, valued relationships with energy companies, and account loyalty. As a former president and director of an industry organization, Hager has a solid reputation in the interstate pipeline and midstream oil and natural gas business. An alumni of Oklahoma State University, Hager began his career in 2002 as an applications engineer. Over the next 10 years, Hager worked in a variety of technical sales and regional account management roles in the process control industry before entering the pipeline equipment manufacturing business as a commercial business director in 2011.
In 2014, Hager founded Big Elk Energy Systems, LLC and now serves as its CEO. Big Elk manufactures large scale pipeline measurement and integrity equipment, and serves the oil and gas industry globally. The company was named after Hager’s third great grandfather, a chief of the Osage tribe born in 1852 and named Opontonga, translated “Big Elk.”
Hager is an ordained minister and serves on the board of Orphan Secure, a non-profit organization.
